Fire Prevention

The holiday season is kicking off, which means a lot of time spent in the kitchen. All the cooking and baking is festive and fun, but it requires special attention to fire prevention. 

October is National Fire Prevention Month, a time when we look at fire statistics for the prior year and remind the public of the role they can play in fire prevention. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), fire departments in the United States responded to 1.35 million fires in 2021.
